The difference between the impact that a top-performing leader and an average leader has on an organization is at least 50%. Yet, only 38% of leaders of those studied reported that the quality of leadership in their organization is very good or excellent.
These stats from the Global Leadership Forecast 2011 are stunning, yet not surprising. They are a wake-up call for organizations struggling to keep up with the accelerating pace of change.
