In 1990, this inquiry proved so compelling that it inspired him to launch 2130 Partners. The executive leadership development and education firm continues to make these three questions central to its approach. As an executive consultant, Dwight draws on his decades of operational management and executive experience. Prior to founding 2130 Partners, he held executive positions in mining, heavy construction, nuclear plant construction management, real estate acquisition and investment management. In addition, for 30 years he has been an investor and activist with The Hunger Project, a global strategic organization committed to the sustainable end of world hunger. With this diverse background, Dwight blends his learning from the worlds of business and global nonprofit into the unique strategic planning, team building and executive leadership training offered by 2130 Partners.

Dwight’s lifelong study of leadership and teamwork continues to be enriched by his role as a Group Chair for Vistage International, Inc., the world’s leading CEO membership organization. Since 1994, Dwight has facilitated three groups of CEOs and senior executives for Vistage. He has been the recipient of the Vistage Annual Chair Excellence Award ten times and is consistently ranked as one of the Top 20 Chairs. In 2007 he received the Master Chair award which was given to only 33 of the 330 Chairs. In 2009 Dwight became a Best Practice Chair and is now mentoring the 12 Chairs in the South Orange County area. In January 2010 Dwight added the role of  Best Practice Chair for the Pacific Northwest.

Combining his work with 2130 Partners and Vistage, Dwight has facilitated more than 1,000 days of workshops and meetings, and has logged more than 13,000 hours of executive leadership coaching.

Prior to his wide-ranging business experience, Dwight earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Geology from Northwestern University. As an expression of his continuing commitment to expand the dimensions in which he can work on behalf of his clients’ growth and development, Dwight was ordained as an interfaith minister in 2005.
